STYLISH UPGRADED BLACK SQUIER STRAT w CREAM CONTROLS & PICKUP UPGRADE

A very cool and desirable looking Squier Stratocaster in great condition.

APPEARANCE

An ALL BLACK STRAT guitar always looks mean yet extremely smart and crosses all Genres and Styles. Especially with Cream Pickups and Controls creating a stylish look. I have used a Single Ply Black Pickguard with Black Screws so the Plate now looks like it's blending in with the Body.

CONDITION

The guitar looks great for one that was made China around 2004. For an instrument that's 20 years old it's is fantastic shape.

The bodywork is in excellent condition with just the odd minor mark and minimal surface scratching. There are a couple of small paint repairs on the face that have been matched, blended in and polished out. These can only be seen under certain light and do not really distract from the overall appearance.

The neck is also in great condition both straight and true. It has been thoroughly cleaned & polished and fret board treated with Dunlop 1 & 2. 

There is little fret wear evident. Any high spots have been levelled and recrowned to prevent buzzing and dull notes.

The strings are new (EB Slinky 009 set) and the setup is low and plays very well and fast.

UPGRADES

Original PUPS have been replaced with Vintage Alnico V Single Coils giving the guitar those lovely warm tones that you associate with a Fender Strat. There is no mistaking that iconic sound.

They have plenty of cut through PUNCH, RESONANCE, SUSTAIN and RESPONSE making a great selection of sounds throughout their 5 switch positions.

OTHER FEATURES

All Plates are new.

Electrics including upgraded 250K Full Size Pots are new.

The strings are new.

The guitar has had a Full MOT and Setup making it READY TO PLAY.
