Item Description :
This is a vintage Korean celadon tea bowl, which was made by Crown Princess of Korean Empire, Yi Banngja (Japanese name: Masako Ri) about 50 years ago.
The signature of the potter is written on the bottom. The original wooden storage box with the signature of the potter is also included.

Yi Bangja, Crown Princess Uimin of Korea (Japanese name: Masako Ri) (1901 – 1989) was the consort of Crown Prince Euimin of Korea. She and her husband would have been the emperor and empress of the Empire of Korean if Korea had not been annexed to the Empire of Japan in 1910.
