Item Description :

This is a vintage Japanese lacquered wooden vase of WAJIMA lacquer ware, which was made by a great artisan, Tadashi Inami (1923-2011) about 40 years ago.

He was a great artisan, who won the blue-ribbon award of Nitten Exhibition in 1967.

Baterflies are decorated with natural seashells, and some pieces of gold leaf are also decorated on the body. 

The vase is made of natural wood coated with high quality Japanese lacquer (Not plastic or resin one). The seal of the artisan is stamped on the bottom. 

The original wooden box with the signature of the artisan is also included.
