Offered here is a sweet recovered crash site artifact from Colonel Charles Yeager's Lockheed NF-104A AeroSpace Trainer aircraft.   On December 10th, 1963, Colonel (later General) Yeager made two flights in this historic aircraft to altitudes over 100,000 feet.  On the second flight, he lost control of the ship and was forced to eject.

This artifact was recovered from the crash site in 1999 during a survey.  This is a sizeable section of aluminum outer skin  with partial flush rivet holes.  The interior surface displays well-preserved zinc chromate paint. A SWEET and sizealbe display piece!  Specimens of this size and quality are rarely, if ever, made available today.  This is a golden opportunity to add a museum quality specimen to your collection.

Size: 118 X 65 X 1 mm

I am paring down my personal collection and making this museum-quality piece available for the discriminating collector.  Check my feedback if in any doubt!  25 years on eBay with 100% positive feedback!  Provenance will be included.  Thanks and Good Luck!
