Team Australia / Walker Racing was created in 2005 to contest the Champ Car World Series.

In 2007 driving the Panoz DP01 chassis Will Power would have his first Indy Car win at the Grand Prix of Las Vegas. He would also finish first at the Toronto Grand Prix and finish the 2007 season in fourth place.

2007 would also be Simon Pagenaud rookie season as he would go on to finish the season in eighth place.
