Brass Vishnu four-armed figure has a beautiful dark patina with some verdigris, and is likely from the 1960s to 70s. Stands holding a leaf or tray with two of four hands, and if you use the figure for a home altar, that small dish can perhaps hold small offerings or function as an incense holder. The other two hands are up at the sides holding perhaps a club or mace.

Vishnu is an all-powerful deity in Hindu culture, a protector and preserver of moral order. This piece displays nice details in the face as well as the borders. That heavy oxidation contrasts nicely with a lighter gold color in some areas. Overall, the piece is slightly dulled from tarnish, which is also appealing, adding to the aged look.

Measures approximately 7-3/6" tall and the base is 1-7/8" square although the leaf tray extends out making the piece deeper overall than the base.
