Here is 1929 $5 Federal Reserve Bank Note. It is fron the Chicago district and has been graded by PMG as Uncirculated 62EPQ. The 62EPQ means it has no folds and the centering is not great. If you are looking for a generic $5 FRBN in uncirculated condition, this is a good note to get. It is not amazingly expensive and hard to find like a Saint Louis or San Francisco $5 in uncirculated.
During the depression Roosevelt ordered a bank holiday and shut down the banks for a day. At that time the BEP used paper that was slated to print nationals and printed Federal Reserve Bank notes in a hurry. This is one of those emergency notes.
