RARE ITEM & RARE OPPORTUNITY

This is a Standard IMPERIAL GILL measure used in the 19th and early 20th centuries beginning in 1825. This item is from the County of QUEENS issued to counties in sets ranging from 1/2 or 1/4 Gill up to Bushel size (quite heavy) and used as reference for sale/trade. Valued between $400-$500 (American), full sets generally sell for several thousand dollars and are usually found in museums in the British Isles.
