My beloved Yamaha K-1020 cassette deck has bad IC capacitors and my technician said can't be fixed.  So sadly, I'm parting  it out. 

Details - The head on this transport looks really good.  When I hit the power button before I tore it apart the motor runs and the cap stands run constantly as you would expect with this unit.  So we know the motor runs perfectly.  I have no way to test the function motor But it worked prior to losing my play function.  

So the long and short - everything was working when it was sent to the repair shop.

Given the different skill levels of everyone buying used parts I cannot warranty or accept returns.  There's also scammers out now taking off the parts and sending them back so there are no returns on this item unfortunately.  Apparently it's just the time to live in thank you for your understanding.
