This antique American Encaustic Tile Co. art pottery tile features beautiful morning glory flowers and foliage with a deep blue glaze. The estate that it was purchased from stated that her father had collected the tile from the California San Joaquin County Courthouse when it was demolished in 1960, as the family wrote on the edge of the tile.

The tile measures 6” by 6”.

CONDITION: A very small nick to a corner on the back and crazing as pictured. I have tried to capture the condition as honestly as possible in the 6 images, so please be sure to see them all. Zoom in for the best views.
