Rare Vintage Millers Falls No. 209 Deluxe Wood Plane

From the catalog “The transparent red knob and handle are made of Permaloid, an indestructible plastic that contrasts pleasingly with the brilliant chrome plating and the black enameled inside the bottom.”

This plane is based on the premium type 2 No. 9 plane with a high support rib. The plane was introduced in 1937. To date, no examples have been found to show it was produced after 1941.

Very good condition. As found, was not attempted to be cleaned or disassembled
