Here is a grand, recessed tab handled 10 inch dinner plate, 11 1/2 inch wide across, designed by Ben Siebel, for Roseville Pottery, in their early 1950's dinnerware, Raymor. A Mid Century interpretation of a sophisticated modern design in dinnerware. This large plate is manufactured in the "grainy look" gray glaze. No mistaking this line for anything else, as the weight and feel are unlike most other ceramic dinnerware of the pre 1954 era. There is a tiny base rim chip on the unglazed edge shown in the last photo. No chips, cracks, crazing, flaws or wear.
