16mm Television Test Films CBS c.1969/74 x6 Early Thermal Cameras & Simplified Operating (see below)

Not really sure exactly what I have here!

There are a total of six - 16mm films ranging in size.

Film are all on reels apart from one which is just wound.

I've tried to show some images representative of the film - a couple of the films are quite 'abstract'.

Most are test films - paterns / thermals images/ etc, except large purple reel film which seems to be instructive.

Purple - large reel is marked CBS - A television recording - prog : Simplified Operations - Practices - CBS California etc..Also in film title includes "Simple Operating Practices for Two Cameras"

Brown film lead-in is marked - Low Light Level / TV Demo / Rar /Orig / 500' / Heads' - Autonitics (13 March 1969)

Small grey reel is marked 'Early Thermal'.

Silver case is marked Thermal Imaging 16mm B&W mute prints & neg  - copies 1 & 2. (although can't confirm this is accurate)

 

Approx reel sizes are:

purple  30cm, brown 18cm, silver reel 18cm, black/red wound 13cm, grey 9cm, black 9cm.

Films appear to be in very good condition for their age (50+ years). They are untested - just inspected the first section of film at the start of each rell. Please inspect photographs carefully. If unsure please ask questions before bidding.

These are heavy so shipping costly.
