Great old treasure here in the form of an antique 1931 autograph signature friendship quilt.

Always thankful when one of the creators adds a date. Thanks, Lola Bray!

I wish I knew the history on this one, but I don't, so all I can do is describe to you what I see. Also, please study the photos.

This one appears to be a quilt top hand tied to an already existing quilt. This is my best guess.

The designation of aunt accompanies several blocks and one simply says mother. The names are hand embroidered.

I see the cities of Pear Valley, Menard, Valley ?, Brownwood, Lohn, Waldrip and San Angelo. Some simply say N. Mexico.

I've only had one other quilt set this way.  There are 2 rows that you would be able to read if standing on the right side of the bed.  The other 2 rows can be read correctly if you are standing on the left side of the bed. Very interesting!!!

Measures about 73" x 63".

Damage? Lots. Please see photos.
