Irving Stone signed novel

The Greek Treasure - the search for ancient Troy

This is a signed and inscribed copy of Irving Stone's novel about the search for ancient archeological treasures in Turkey and Greece by adventurer Henry Schielmann and his young wife, Sophia.

It is inscribed, dated 1975 and and signed in bold marker on the front free endpaper.

The book is a presumed first edition hardcover with a newly-added protective dust jacket cover (Bro-Dart).   It is in near Fine condition, and appears unread and very well preserved for its age.  The boards and spine are clean and unmarked. The inside pages are bright and unfaded. The binding is strong, and there are no ownership signs (save the author's inscription), no writing or library marks, no remainder marks and no bent pages.

The dust jacket would also be in near fine condition except for some minor shelf wear and chipping along the extremities.  It has no folds, minimal nicks to the spine area, and the original price  ($10.95) is still on the front fold.
