Antique Victorian White Cotton Long 2 Layer Flounce Petticoat Skirt

Beautiful antique piece.

This is in great condition for it’s age.  I just washed and ironed it.  There is one very pale tan streak that didn’t come out in wash – but it is not that bad. See below for other conditions.

Measures approx. 38” long.  28” waist- has no closure

Very full – 2 layers of flounce.  Top layer measures approx. 14” wide.  It is made of fine cotton batiste.  It has numerous insert lace pieces.

 There is one area of damage to bottom of lace – about 2-1/2” long and another area that has small wear to lace and a few areas where lace has separated from seam – see pictures.

2^nd layer measures approx. 12” wide and has no lace – ruffled bottom part.

Top part is a fine white cotton – I found 1 area of 5 very small wear spots and another area of 2 pinhead wear spots.
