He appears to be new and never used. Hes not tethered to the original box and can be taken out.

Light works and there's no corrosion on the battery pack, however, there has a bit of damage on the interior mechanism where plastic has snapped and screws are missing. It still works. Just doesn't reliably turn on and off with the hugging like it should.
