A cost effective easy method to attach wire or cable to a connector without having to buy an expensive crimping tool.
Solder Slugs/Pellets are sized and color coded for the exact gauge wire you are using.

Instructions for use of solder slugs
Strip cable so the the exposed stranded copper just reaches the bottom of the closed end
terminal.
Apply 1-3 drops of liquid flux to the exposed copper cable. Sold on listing 370103351357
Place the proper sized slug into the terminal, and clamp the terminal in a vise with the open
end of the terminal pointed upward.
If you intend to cover the terminal in heat shrink tubing (recommended), place the tubing
over the cable.
Heat the base of the terminal with a propane torch until the slug begins to melt.
As the slug melts gently push the cable into the terminal. A small bubbling may occur at
the open end of the terminal This is normal.
Once the cable is completely inserted into the terminal remove the torch. And let air cool
for about 10-15 seconds.
If you are using heat shrink tubing, slide the tubing over the terminal and heat with a
Indirect heat source such as a heat gun.
Remove from vise and allow to cool until it is warm to the touch. Do not use water to
speed the cooling process.
