Poppy Medal Framing offer a frame to house all WW1 First World War British Army Gallantry Medals-our unique innovative impressed frames allow each medal be it a replica/copy or an original to be simply placed within its aperture and there is no requirement for sewing/glueing or adhering in any way. The medals are displayed 'impressed' into the velvet coated board(this does not pick up well on flash photography-in reality it is a matt rich black velvet) in a similar fashion to the impressed Military Cross case.
This frame houses:

The Victoria Cross centrally aside on the left Officers Gallantry Awards-the Distinguished Service Order above the Military Cross-on the right the Distinguished Conduct Medal and the Military Medals.
The VC is central to both Officers and enlisted men as the highest award and the only one they could both be awarded at that time excepting ranks that had later received commisions who may have more interesting gallantry groups.

The overall size of the frame is approx 405mm high by 380mm wide and 40mm deep as we use our deepest moulding to accomodate the depth of the DSO.

We produce all of the medals/plaque etc to fit this frame in our ebay shopwith the exception of the DSO.

We further offer a frame to house all medals issued for the Great War excepting Gallantry and cover the campaign/casualty medals.
We further produce this frame with extra apertures to display a second medal and therefore the reverse alongside the obverse in our ebay shop.
