without use of epoxy and its mechanical connection allows for convenient
removal and re-installation in the field. Its our favorite alternative
to permanently affixed handles. 3/16" dia. screw set is also ideal for use as spacers and/or a pivot bolt in a custom folding knife project! (Need slightly larger bolt sets for 1/4" diameter tang holes? WE GOT THEM, see our "other items!")

Details:
Tang nuts are designed to fit in a 3/16" diameter tang hole and are 1/4" long.
When assembled, the nut set can accommodate up to a 1" thick handle when countersunk. For thinner handle widths, screws can be easily customized (shortened) with a Dremel cut-off wheel.
Recommended installation: Drill 7/64" pilot hole in handles to accommodate screw threads and 7/32" countersink hole for screw head.
