Note- Please be very careful when you are ordering this kit if you have a Non-VTEC you need a different kit. If you don't see your application exactly year model and engine size you need a different kit. Please ask us, we can help you get the correct one.

You can identify this transaxle by 1 the piece aluminum rear case. Transmission code of S20, S40, or SG8.  Also this transaxle uses the 208 ball differential bearings (80mm outside diameter).

Please Note:This transmission rebuild kit is for the Fits Honda Civic and Civic del Sol with the 1600cc(1.6L) engine only!  This kit will work for a vehicle with a Single Over Head Cam (SOHC) VTEC engine only. If you have a Civic or a Del Sol with a V-TEC SOHC this is the kit you need there are other kits for the S40 transmissions however they don't work with the V-TEC
