This Snap-On Lens Cap doesn't fit over the lens housing but instead it fits inside the lens housing.
This lens cap fits inside the lens housing: simply squeeze sides and place on lens: Position your fingers in the center of the lens cap and squeeze sides of the lens cap then place it on lens. This lens cap may pop off when you turn on the camera, otherwise remove the cap before turning on the camera.
