About the artist:

Erv Lewis began his career in music as a folksinger and, over time, appeared in a wide range of venues, from local clubs and coffeehouses, regional and national festivals, the International Country Music Festival at Wembley Stadium in London, to network television. While he appeared for a time as part of a duo, and then a trio, he was most popular as a single performer with driving finger-picking and arpeggio guitar styles, original songs about current topics and events, and what was described by one reviewer as ".....amazingly effective audience rapport". Erv's popularity as a singer/songwriter/guitarist continued across the United States and the United Kingdom, even after the so-called "folk music era".

The songs on this LP represent some of his work as a Christian singer/songwriter. They skillfully merge sophisticated musicianship, the candidness of his folk music background, and Christianity as a "one-person-at-a-time" lasting solution.

This 1977 LP is on the "Herald" record label.
