When Dr. Feelgood burst on the UK scene in 1975 with their energetic R&B, they symbolised a return to the basics and away from the bloated pomposity rock had become. Many from the fledgling punk scene in both the UK and US took much inspiration from the Feelgoods. “Their first three studio albums had the same R&B/primal rock/blues character as the original Stones” – Trouser Press.
After four albums,
guitarist and songwriter Wilko Johnson left over musical differences, and
continued with his own band and his remarkable choppy rhythm/lead blues
style. Albums like Ice On The Motorway, Solid Senders and Barbed
Wire Blues, plus
regular worldwide touring with his excellent rhythm section of Blockheads
Norman Watt-Roy and Monti, have kept Wilko’s reputation as one of the hottest
and renowned r&b guitarists intact.
Recently the star-gazing star of 'Oil City Confidential', the Julien Temple Dr. Feelgood documentary.
The CD includes extensive, informative notes in 12-page booklet by Time Out journalist Jim Driver.

banks in Pounds Sterling, and UK Postal Orders. Checks in US Dollars
from US banks can be accepted with a $3 surcharge.

Postage
UK
and particularly international postage charges have risen sharply (May
2012). The amount we charge is what we expect to pay plus approx 20-30p
for packing materials.
Multiple items postage
If
you are ordering multiple items, there will be automatic approximated
reduction in postage costs – but make sure you order them together, not
individually. If the estimate still looks excessive, don't pay but
click on the 'Request total from seller' button in the shopping basket.
We'll then recalculate the costs for your combined items postage and
send you an invoice. The postage may or may not calculate as less;
we’re trying to refine the accuracy of the automation.
(Note: the date printed on our postage is two days after we print it, ie the date it remains valid until with Royal Mail.)
