You are buying a Brand New in Box Fuel Transfer Pump Kit manufactured by Carter for 1998 1/2 to 2002 Dodge Rams equipped with the 5.9L 24 Valve Cummins Diesel Engine.
This is a Carter manufactured fuel pump and is identical to the Original Equipment Mopar & Cummins Pumps. Carter builds the pumps for Mopar & Cummins.
The kit includes:
New Fuel Pump (Not Remanufactured)
Fuel Line Washers
Fuel Pressure Sensor and Line (Genuine Cummins Parts)
Caution Light
10 amp fuse with pig tail for power

This is the new style pump that has the additional two check balls installed to bypass in case of transfer pump motor failure.
This pump will not work if your truck has been converted to an in the tank supply pump.
Pay way less than what Mopar or Cummins charge for a new pump. Get the exact same pump for less.
Replace your transfer pump if it's weak before it kills your $1200+ Injector Pump. Replace your transfer pump if your injector pump recently failed. It is the best way to be sure you do not have to buy another injector pump.
Always Install a supply pump that mounts on the block. Do not install the Dodge upgrade, which is the pump in the tank. That pump only supplies volume of fuel, not pressure like the VP44 pump requires. You will have more problems down the road if you go with the in tank transfer pump.
Install the low fuel pressure caution light kit and be able to tell when you have a filter or transfer pump problem!!!
