ANTIQUE DOG ID IDENTIFICATION REGISTRATION TAG DOG TAX  " B.D.T. " 1913 No. 33

Thanks to a fellow eBayer that helped me connect some dots, I have more information that I can give you.  We recently discovered some old Police Badges that we purchased years ago--that were in storage.  I recently sold one of them on eBay last week (ID # 321152675678).  All of the Badges were from a town in Illinois called "BELLWOOD".  This coin/token was in the same box with all the Badges purchased from the same person. So, there is a big possibility that the letter "B" is for "Bellwood, Illinois."

I have been told by a couple eBayer's  that this is a Dog ID Tax Tag, but I do not know for certain as other antique Dog Tax tags all are marked "Dog Tax".  In either case, I did come across several Antique Dog Tax tags that sold in the $200 range.

Measures approximately:  a little over 1 inch in diameter

Condition:  Token is rusted.  Has one deep visible scratch.  "Bubble-looking growths" on it on both sides.  Any defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as "described".
