.....VERY RETRO LOOKING....

A piece of American Photographic and engineering history!  This is an Argus Model A, manufactured in 1937; the model A was manufactured 1936-1941.  For those not familiar with Argus, it was formed in 1936 originally as a subsidiary of the International Radio Corporation (IRC) of Ann Arbor, Michigan.  Founded by Charles Verschoor, Argus created the first "low cost" 35mm camera to be produced in the United States.  Ultimately Argus was purchased by Sylvania in 1959 and ceased production in 1969.

THIS CAMERA IS FROM A LARGE ESTATE AND  HAS NOT BEEN TESTED & BEING SOLD AS IS.

PLEASE EMAIL ANY QUESTIONS

THANKS FOR LOOKING
