The Drum in Drum is a rhythm section solution for the singer song writer that desires a full sound, control the tempo of an ensemble or just get rid of the hassles of having to deal with a crazy drummer. The Drum in Drum is also useful in building a fan base who is attracted to your live energetic performances. Lastly, the Drum in a Drum is good at working out a song prior to recording and constructing midi drums. These drums are hand crafted in my shop, by me, to my customers specifications, at the time of the purchaser.
There are three standard models, but each model can be modified to a costumers requests and upgraded with addons such as LED lights. Since these drums are handmade, from ordered parts, delivery and cost of parts/shipping can change. All parts costs, which come under budget will be returned to the costumer as a rebate. Included in the delivery will be all receipts used to acquire parts, your refund will be adjusted from these receipts. Build time can take as little as two weeks and as long as five weeks. You will be sent pictures during the construction process to keep you informed of the build and up date you to the estimated time for delivery.
Re-purposing an old vintage drum sets can produce a drastic cost savings in parts since, new drum parts will cost over $650 in parts to build. Used drum sets sell locally for around $200 to $300. This will reduce the price instantly by up to $450.
My original build was with a 20 inch base drum and I have to say it is heavy, large, hard to move around and load in a car. I strongly believe an 18 inch base is the best size for sound quality and portability. Both 18 inch base drums and 13 inch snares are harder to come by so a re-purposed drum might have to use a 20 inch base and 14 inch snare.
I construction of these drums to the highest standards, with the best playability and sound. This is my goal. You will receive the best product I am able to produce with my talent and tools.
