This is a complete set of all 18 U.S. commemorative postage stamps issued in 1959 plus an information insert listing the date each stamp was issued. All stamps are guaranteed to be fault-free with original, undisturbed, gum and are just as fresh as they were when purchased in a post office 65 years ago.
Please note that the stamps are not mounted to any surface. Because of the white borders of both the stamps and the insert, they have been scanned against a black background for a clearer view of both the stamps and the card. The original gum on the stamps has not been disturbed in any way. All stamps are shipped in protective glassine envelopes. This set would look especially nice framed and would make a great birth year or anniversary gift!
