This is a reproduction belt buckle or cartridge box buckle that is made of solid brass. The buckle was made from an original buckle, circa 1760. The buckle measures 1 15/16"" x 1 1/2" on the outside, the inside measurement is 1 1/2". The buckle can be used for a belt or a musket sling. The buckle is polished and has a tongue installed on the middle bar.

The original was found near Fort Ticonderoga,
