Character: This highly aromatic tea was produced using very good quality Pouchong Tea and beautifully sweet, fragrant Jasmine flowers.

Jasmine blossoms are picked in the morning when they are fresh and kept cool during the day to prevent them opening quickly. As the flowers start to open in the evening, they are piled next to the raw tea for about four hours to allow the perfume of jasmine flowers to be absorbed by the tea leaves. Then the tea is spread out and the process is repeated for a second and third scenting. After all the scent is absorbed, tea leaves are fired to remove any moisture and then some of the Jasmine blossoms are added to give an extra scent and beautiful appearance.

Infusion: Pale yellow-green

Ingredients: China Pouchong green tea, jasmine petals

Brewing method: Brew 1 teaspoon of China “Jasmine Blossoms” in 200ml (7fl oz.) filtered and freshly boiled but then cooled down to 80°C (176°F) water for 2-3 minutes. Strain and add some more water for a second and third infusion.
