Description
This model has an extremely wide and flat rim. Notice the outside rim diameter of 1.126 inches! There is some undercut for chop room, too. The cup is shallow, with a shape inspired by the famous 'SL' cup. The entrance to the throat is rounded to allow for plenty of air to pass through, despite the low cup-volume and fat rim. Slotting with the Fat-tastic is excellent. Customers that have played the Fat-tastic have found it perfect for both lead and legit playing.

This piece has been described as being similar to the feel of some of the smaller Monette pieces. IT IS NOT A COPY of these pieces, it just has a similar rim and cup. The Fat-tastic has the Legends enhanced throat (#27), throat cylinder length, and Legends S backbore. These design elements maximize endurance, range and sound for the player.
This mouthpiece is kept in stock in three blanks: lightweight, standard weight, and heavyweight. The lightweight blank adds extra sizzle for more of a lead, or 'Las Vegas' sound. The heavyweight blank is extremely efficient; the added mass creates enriched slotting and core of sound. Standard weight is a nice balance of both.
