The emulator simulates that the seat occupancy sensor (seat mat) works correctly and that the seat is always occupied. It sends to an airbag control unit the same signal as that sent by seat mat while a passenger is sitting.
The emulator is a diagnostic device to test correctness of car installation working and to make sure that the error displayed on a dashboard is caused by a faulty seat occupancy sensor
PROBLEM APPEARED
Airbag and seat belt warning lights are on or there's SRS warning and diagnostic computer shows that the seat occupancy sensor is faulty.

- Turn the ignition off.
- Find the seat occupancy sensor plug under the passenger seat (back side). Seat mat wires are: red, white, brown.
- Remove wires from the plug and replace them with emulator's wires.
- Find the seat belt buckle plug (back side under the seat). Seat belt buckle wires are usually yellow and blue.
- Install the seat belt emulator - remove yellow and blue wires from the plug under the seat and put the seat belt emulator wires instead.
- Reset the fault code using proper diagnostic software.

PROBLEM SOLVED
After installing the emulators the whole system works normally and passenger airbag will always work in case of any accident.
So a car computer "sees" it:
Seat occupancy sensor - installed,
works properly
Seat status - occupied
Seatbelt status - fastened (if the seat belt emulator was installed)
