SOWING INSTRUCTIONS
When to Plant:  Plant  all year round  in Cool Place
Sowing  Seeds:  Best to plant seeds in 75mm  Pot  one seed on each Pot
Planting Dept: 8 to 10mm
Planting place:  Pots or Cell  trays or in ground. 
Germination:  Takes 30 to 60  days, Keep moist during germination period
 Germination: Optimum germination temperature 12 to 20 centigrade  
Seeds Storing: Seeds can be stored up to 3 to 5 years in dry place.
Planting Tip: Best to plant them were they will remain undisturbed
                          and you can remove them during dormancy period

Raising a your Bonsai from seed has got to be one of life's greatest pleasures,
Specially  if you have some understanding of how and why germination occurs
You'll have more success with raising plants from seed.

Japanese maple seeds mature in Australia in Autumn April/May.
This Seeds can be scarify and keep in fridge, until you ready to plant them out in spring 
or any other time,  Seeds come out from fridge should be plant out within 3 days,  
So it’s advisable all Japanese maple seeds always be cold treated before planting out,  
Cold treated means you need to give the seeds a false winter by placing them in your fridge
for 60 to 90 days.

Propagating Tip: Germination Can be improved by  scarifying seeds before 
Placing to Cold treated in fridge. (Cold Treatment Stratification)
    
How to prepare seeds for cold treatment stratification.

1) - Simply soak the seeds 24 hours in warm water
2) -  Drain the seeds, and place them in a plastic bag, adding  some moist coir/ or pit moss
3) -  Keep them in fridge for 60 to 90 days, giving them a  good sleep -( false winter )
4)-  After 60 to  90 days, take them out from fridge, and  seeds are ready to plant them out
5) Seeds come out from fridge (Cold Treatment Stratification) 
and sadden expose outside warm weather  helps trigger up germination
