Your looking at a stainless copy of the bracket which the exhaust hangs off from the gearbox,
this is made from 3mm stainless steel which is considerably stronger than the original, these can break, if they are not fixed here then the exhaust will come adrift from the cast manifold,
This is 316 stainless steel so will not rust away like originals either,
