They use zinc-air technology. The battery capacity is greater than any other battery with the same design. In addition, zinc-air batteries are especially suitable for high currents; therefore they meet the needs of hearing aids perfectly. They can be used in all Analog, digital and Ultra High power hearing aids.

Oxygen from the surrounding air reacts with the zinc to supply the required current. In its original pack, the battery is sealed with an adhesive tab which protects it against environmental influences. In this condition, very little oxygen is present in the battery. Its Voltage is therefore reduced. After removal of the tab, oxygen enters the battery and the voltage rises to more than 1.4V (open circuit voltage). Wait for 1 to 2 minutes after removal of the adhesive tab before placing the battery in the hearing aid. Batteries should be stored in room temperature.

Postage

Packed inside a normal envelope, We will send Second Class post via the Royal mail, but faster options are available to you if you wish to pay the extra.We have had no trouble doing it this way over the years. 

International Postage

We do offer worldwide postage but i will only send by International Signed For. There is however an extra fee for this, mainly because we are charged so much. We try to keep this payment as low as possible. Please understand that worldwide postage does take a little longer to arrive and be sure to check your countries customs laws.

Desptach time

We will  despatch items within one working day. We work Monday - Saturday.
