Up for sale is a large, antique Geographic Map of TORONTO, CANADA.  Prepared under the direction of the Chief of Engineers by the Army Map Service (AM), Corps of Engineers, Department of the Army, Washington, D.C.

1952 Edition.  Includes the areas of Niagara Falls, Lake Ontario and parts of the US.

This map measures approximately 24 x 29 inches, including the border area. On the reverse side are 3  black and white maps - Niagara Falls, NY & Ontario & Vicinity, Hamilton, Ontario & Vicinity and Toronto, Ontario & Vicinity.

 

The map shows various attributes - major roads, secondary roads, dirt roads, auxiliary airfields, state and county boundaries, railroads, swamps, falls, etc.

 

Map is generally in Fair condition.  It has been stored in a roll for many years, so it naturally rolls up now.  The map has some wear and browning.  There are some creases and tears around the edges of the paper and other stains along the edges.  There are creases in the corners and the paper is "crumpled" along the edges.  There are other creases and dings here and there, as well.

This map is a great piece of history!  It will look very nice when framed.
