This fabric is made in Huddersfield, England, by DORMEUIL, One of the leading Manufactures in the World.

Dormeuil provides fabrics of the highest quality woven in England to top clothiers around the world. A new fibre from half way around the world (Kyrgyzstan, nestled deep in the Celestial Mountains), was introduced to Dormeuil

The fibre from the goats reflects the untamed country they come from. The cold winters of the steppes below the Celestials cause these goats to produce a soft under coat to protect from them from the cold. Once the spring thaw begins the wool can be harvested to produce a fibre that one tamed is soft like cashmere, strong like sheep’s wool, and with the lustre of mohair.

With this wool, they went to work producing a luxurious new wool. It drapes beautifully, is silky to the touch, and has an undeniable elegance. They have dubbed this new line of amazing fabric, Kirgyz WhiteⓇ .
