Up for sale is a VERY SCARCE copy of "OSCARIANA" by Oscar Wilde.  Published by Arthur L. Humphreys, London.

1910 - This book is copy #19 of only 20 total copies.  The book is approximately 4" x 5 1/2".  Published after Wilde's death, this book is a collection of his quotes showing his fabulous verbal dexterity.

Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde (16 October 1854 - 30 November 1900) was an Irish writer and poet.  After writing in different forms throughout the 1880s, he became one of London's most popular playwrights in the early 1890s.

Overall the book is in Good condition, except that the front cover is present, but no longer attached to the book.  The leather boards have wear and chipping.  The edges of the boards are scuffed and the corners are bumped.  Some of the leather on the spine is chipping, as well.  There is a plastic pocket pasted inside the front board and the first few end pages are torn.

The pages have some wear and browning.  There is some small pencil writing on some of the pages and there are "water stains" along some of the edges.

Other dings here and there.  Please email with questions and see my store for other great items.
