This listing is for mod service. You send us your pedal, we perform the mod service and send your pedal back to you. There will be a $5 service fee for cancellations.
These mods work on the GE-7 and GEB-7 made before 2020.
If the pedal has a silver label on the back, or if it is one of the older pedals with a black label on the back...then we have a winner. Shoot me an email if you are unsure :)
Seems everyone is chasing tone. The GE-7 is quite possibly the best out there for dialing in your sound. Check out this video by the Studio Rats:

And there's simply no better mod out there.
Cheaper factory capacitors are replaced with high quality Panasonic capacitors, some with a different value to enhance the lows, mids, and highs. The three stock op amps (chips) are replaced with high quality low noise NE5532 op amps. There are actually four op amps on older pedals.
The result is a warmer, fuller pedal with more clarity and less noise!
And of course we replace the LED. This one is clear when the effect is switched off, and it is a very noticeable blue when the effect is switched on.
Just purchase the mod service, and then here is a 3 point check list:
1) We will be performing
our mod service on your Boss GE-7 or GEB-7.
2) Please include your
return address, and any special information about your mod, on a piece of
paper inside the
package you will be sending us.
3) Just before sending,
please recheck steps 1 and 2.
