This sale is for a pack of 100 Shrink on caps to go on the top of your wine bottles to protect the cork and give your home made wine that professional look. This listing is for 100 Burgundy Red caps although I do sometimes have different colours listed elsewhere in my shop.

To fix these to your bottles your need to heat them which causes them to shrink down. This can be done in the steam of a kettle or with a high-powered hairdrier or for a fast and easy way this is what I do: Boil a saucepan of water and allow it to simmer away, line up the bottles with their caps on ready, then holding the cap onto the bottle with a long blade knife invert the bottle and dunk into the boiling water for just 2 seconds only and you will find the cap shrinks perfectly. The knife will prevent the cap slipping off into the water. Also please remember that the boiling water will be hot (yes, I know what you are thinking, but the health and safety people would expect me to tell you and being blonde I need reminding of these things even if you don't!!!).

Please look at my other items as I am very happy to combine sales to save you some postage, please ask for a quote. If you are in England, Wales or Central Scotland the maximum carriage I charge, no matter how many items you buy, is just £7.95. If you are in the Highlands or Islands or anywhere else please ask for a quote. If you are unsure where you are (and I have days like that!) then here is the list of Scottish postcodes that ARE in my couriers £7.95 delivery area:

AB, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA (except KA27 & KA28), KY, ML, TD, PA1-19, PH1-3.

If the item is small then it can be posted so the postage would be the same for anywhere in the UK, again please ask if you are unsure.

Please also have a look at my other items for sale. If you would like to buy more than one item remember that I do combine postage costs but you must wait for my invoice, otherwise eBay will just add up the individual costs.

Thank you for looking,

Eleanor.
