These screws are strong and good for making table bases with thicker wood. Specifically, I use these in the shop for attaching large zinc tops to the table base. Coarse threading is ideal for soft woods like pine, fir, hemlock, and spruce framing lumber. Note: these are not pocket hole screws as the head DIA is too big.
