How many pieces In 1 pound?
Piece count is not guaranteed, since it does vary depending on the size of the random pieces that are included, but our lots are very consistent, and generally 1000 pieces weighs between 2 and 2.5 pounds. One pound is usually around 300-600 pieces, depending on the piece size. A gallon bag full is usually around 2.25 pounds, give or take a little. One pound will be about 1/2 of a gallon bag, possibly a little less. THIS IS A APPROXIMATION NOT ALL LEGO PARTS ARE THE SAME SIZE. Please don't expect a certain number of pieces or certain volume. You will receive the weight you order, plus a little extra to be safe. We do not include the weight of the box in our weight - if you order 2 pounds, you will get 2 pounds of Lego! Not 2 pounds of Lego and 1 pound of box!
IMPORTANT: *Our LEGO disclaimer:
We have, to the best of our ability, only included pieces in good, clean condition. They are used though, so please don't expect new perfect condition to every piece. You won't (shouldn't) find any broken, mangled, exceptionally dirty, or dog chewed pieces in our lots! Occasionally pieces may need a little additional cleaning, as they are used, and we can't catch everything, but overall this is a clean lot; with over 1 million used random Lego pieces sold each year, we have only ever had one complaint about condition, and we were happy to immediately fix the problem for our customer. We try our best to pick out all the grimy pieces. As we hand check every piece, all pieces should be authentic LEGO brand but occasionally the rare generic may have slipped through without our noticing. Please pardon us if our count is off at all - we do include extras(0.2lbs to 0.4lbs) to be safe or to make up for any dirty or generic pieces that may have sneaked past our process.
