Details
At auction is an
extremely rare, genuine Avirex “All American Classic” Limited Edition leather
bomber jacket made in 1997 for the US Postal Service. The jacket is
made of 100% genuine lambs leather and is fully lined in Cupro-Bemberg (50%
Nylon/50% Acetate). It was designed and made by Avirex, a one-time
contractor of fine military leather jackets. This jacket is quite heavy,
warm, and substantial and is perfect for the fast approaching winter
months ahead.
This model is a
Limited Edition jacket made in limited numbers by Avirex, which ceased its
operations under the Avirex name in 2006. The jacket is beautifully
embroidered and silk-screened on the interior lining with a US Postal Service
Airmail symbol to commemorate the US Postal Service’s once vaunted Airmail
service. The appearance of the leather in this jacket is created by
a special hand tanning process and is designed to look older with each
wearing. It is likely the ONLY one like it you will find anywhere!

I ship via the US Postal Service unless other arrangements are
made with me and requested in advance of bidding. Shipping can be done
internationally with buyer paying the actual shipping charges via the US Postal
Service. For multiple lots, the bidder may request combined shipping at the
time of notification of award. Shipment will be made within 2 USPS business
days of receipt of payment.
Shipment will be made by Parcel Post
or Priority Mail with Delivery/Signature Confirmation and Insurance, no
exceptions. Delivery Confirmation is used on all items with a value over $200;
Signature Confirmation for all items $200 and under. ALL shipments will require
a signature at the time of delivery, no exceptions. I demand these mailing
features, for my protection, and YOURS, to insure that you receive what you pay
for. I will NOT waive any of these requirements for any reasons so, please, do
not ask.
International
Buyers – Please Note:
· Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in
the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s
responsibility.
· Please check with your country’s customs office to
determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
· These charges are normally collected by the delivering

· We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark

Payment Information
I will accept PayPal ONLY for this auction, unless YOU request
other payment methods. Any other payment method must be agreed upon PRIOR
TO placing any bid on my auctions.
Payment made by Paypal is expected within 24 hours, unless other
arrangements have been made PRIOR TO placing a bid on
items. If you are going to place a bid and are planning on paying via
Paypal then please be prepared to pay immediately or at least within 24
hours. It is simply unfair to make the seller wait for payment,
especially when he is going to be paying a significant fee for the privilege of
allowing you to pay via this method.
Ebay's Unpaid Item Assistant
Two days after winning item, Ebay's Unpaid Item assistant will
automatically open an "Unpaid Item Claim." It is important that the
buyer adheres to Ebay's time limits at that point for making timely payment.
Terms and Conditions
All bids must be received through normal online trading processes
established by eBay. I do not and will not reveal reserve auction prices, so
please do not ask. Attempts to discover my reserve by placing a high bid and
then retracting it, claiming you made an error, will be immediately reported to
eBay and will result in your ID being permanently blocked from bidding on all
of our auctions. I do not entertain off eBay attempts to purchase an item
during my auctions and will report any such solicitations to eBay.
RETURNS
I do not accept returns, with the
exception of the rare circumstance where I have made an error in the
listing. An extensive description, to include measurements and
photographs, is always provided and the buyer is expected to review that
information PRIOR TO placing a bid. Buyers are expected to know
their own sizes in an item and are not afforded an opportunity to “try it on”
at our expense.
If I have made an error in the
listing then you must let me know upon receipt of the item so that I can
discuss options to correct the situation for you. NEVER return an
item without first obtaining my specific authorization to do so, as no
refund will be given in such a circumstance. If I have made a
mistake and agree to provide a refund I will pay return shipping, which Ebay
does not require.
Bidders will be barred from participating
