JLR is a Blues Hall of Fame celebrity in the Pacific North West and  is respected by blues fan and players world wide. His early years touring and playing with many blues greats shaped his drive and passion to keep that kind of blues music alive. Cranking out his real from the heart, raw grinding sound puts a fresh twist on the old time blues. He spent the early years listen to a long list of Great Musicians talk about life and music, during that time he states "I just shut up and listened".  Both his parents are Arkansas. His Father was a great guitar player and his mother was a Ballerina in early life before moving to Oregon

JLR was born in Baker City, Oregon (foothills of the great Oregon Mountains). As a young boy in a small town he listened to Wolfman Jack and anything else he could tune infrom far away stations that had those great sounds. When he was 9 yrs. old he started to play bass and hasn’t ever stopped.  When he was 15 he started his first band together ~ The Perils. While still in High School he played with Paul Revere of Paul Revere and the Raiders. After college JLR played in a variety of bands until becoming the bass player & doing some vocals for the Pete Karnes band. In 1973 he joined Canned Heat, which gave him the opportunity to meet and play with some of the greatest blues artists. The music played during those years had more emotion than he had ever heard.

Lloyd was quoted saying, "I have been very fortunate to have stood and played on the bandstand with many of the true Blues legends. From Albert, BB, and Freddie King, to Lightnin’ Hopkins, Charlie Musselwhite, J.B. Hutto, John Lee Hooker, Otis Rush, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Paul Butterfield, Big Walter Horton, Sonny Rhoades, Pete "King" Karnes, Luther Tucker, Snooky Pryour, Robert "Jr." Lockwood, etc, to the newer guys like Jimmy Mesi, Paul DeLay, Lloyd Jones, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. It has been a great time so far." In 1980 he moved back to Baker City to raise a family. After years of living with a free style, grooving, fiery blues lurking in his heart, mind, & soul he finally meet the right musicians to start Jimmy Lloyd Rea and The Switchmaster! The band is named after aGibson Swichmaster his dad owned.

In 1981 at Blues Hat Studio in Walla Walla JLR first recorded his new band with Vince Hozier ~ famed member of the Sunrays ~ on lead guitar. During the coming years JLR & the Switchmasters recorded some of the best original power blues which are included in this amazing 2 CD set.  Also featuring Craig Tarwater, he is the most creative guitar players you will ever hear. His style and experience are unmatched. While still a school boy, at age 17 he had the good fortune to work with Dobie Gray and The Drifters.  Just out of high school Craig headed to LA and was grabbed up by some of the greatest bands of our time.  During the years he has played and recorded with so many including, Jackie DeShannon, Sons of Adam, Love, Barry White, Jeff Simmons, Frank Zappa, Canned Heat,  Daily Flash, Buddy Miles, Steve Miller, The drifters, Dr. John, Buffalo Springfield and many others.

Located in Walla Walla, Washington!  ~ Time Machine Collectibles primary business is autograph photo sales and movie posters. What makes us unique is that we work with the actors directly to create an individual OFFICIAL WEBSITE as a tribute to their career. The primary focus is on showing the overall career of the artist including a biography, filmography, upcoming appearances, gallery and autographed photos for sale, featuring many roles from their career. These websites are in essence, a partnership between our firm and the client. The client provides their involvement and participation throughout the creation of their site.

With sales increasing 30% per month, the internet proves to be the new frontier for worldwide presentation and sales of products. We ship photos to England, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, Australia, Ireland, Denmark, Korea, and the Netherlands, to name just a few, as well as throughout the United States. We offer retail prices to fans for single photo purchases and dealer prices as well for quantity purchases of 12 or more photos.

Many hours and hard work goes into creating each website. It's always a challenge especially for artists like James Gregory and Jeff Corey, who have films dating as far back as the 1940's.

It's a fun project just trying to figure out where to start when they have hundreds of movie and TV roles to their credit. Often there are so many roles that even they can't recall them all. Sometimes a client will say "It was just a days work", yet they may be referring to one of their most memorable roles. We have several clients that should write books as Walter Koenig has, relating the different experiences they've had in Hollywood. Some of the stories they have shared with us are priceless.

We now have over 40 websites and are looking forward to many more. Prior to starting the Time Machine business, I owned and worked in a family business designing tournament archery equipment for 30 years, acquiring over 15 patents during that time. One of our bows was used to light the 1992 Olympic torch in Barcelona.

We decided to start the website out of a desire for a new challenge, and it has grown much faster than we expected. It takes a substantial investment but has been a good business with a lot of great people to work with. The business was created in 1997, however I've been collecting since 1957. We now have an inventory of over 20,000 items, and offer both wholesale and retail purchasing; all sales being mail order.

MARTIN ARCHERY HISTORY
"My father started in the archery business when I was four years old.  I won my first tournament in the ?Pee Wee Division? when I was seven years old. (What a name for a shooters class!)

I continued to shoot until I was thirteen, by then I began spending more of my spare time with my guitar, and less with my bow.  In my early twenties ?Martin Archery? had become the largest manufacturer of bowstrings in the world. I was on board full time. In those years the compound bow made its debut, but the original designs were filled with trouble and made worse with bad products.

My dad and brother preferred to stay with shooting their recurves, and really wanted nothing to do with this strange problem filled bow! I was certain that the compound bows were the way of the future if only the problems could just be worked out. I began to design and patent our compound bows, so much so that it enabled us to purchase the Howatt Archery Company in Yakima Washington, which we still own today.  Howatt was know for making quality recurves, but had no experience with the compound bow, by now the compound bow was taking over 95% of the market.  After we purchased the Howatt Company we continued to manufacture recurves, even though by now all the other major bow manufacturers stopped. It has taken several years of hard work and money to be the a leader in the industry today.

Do to the abundance of misinformation on the internet regarding the history of archery, I started Archeryhistory, Archerytalk, and Archerychat. Where not only the pro archers could go for correct information, but the whole archery community could communicate with the entire industry. Archeryhistory and Archerytalk now receive over 15 million hits a month! I never imagined that it would ever be this popular. The amazing part is that it?s archers helping archers to continue to enjoy the activity, by sharing information to enable each person to be the best archer they can be." - Terry Martin (Taken from Terry G. Martin's website.)

MARTIN ARCHERY SOLD
Martin Archery was near extinction two years ago. The iconic American company, started in 1951 by Gail Martin and his wife Eva, fell on hard times after Martin died in July 2013. The company?s assets were about to be auctioned off.

That's when Rich Weatherford stepped in. As a seasoned executive with experience in other industries, Weatherford saw potential in the venerable company.

"I had worked in the Fortune 500 world," he said. "I'd hit a point in my life where I could do something different, and one of my passions is bringing jobs back to the U.S."

When the opportunity to lead Martin Archery presented itself, Weatherford jumped.

"You can't get more American than Gail Martin,? he said. He partnered with Diversis Capital, and together they bought Martin Archery in October 2013, three days before the auctioneer's gavel could fall.

Weatherford said his goal for Martin Archery is to recapture its founder's ideals.

"Gail had a vision, and I want to bring the company back to what Gail had in mind," he said.

Weatherford's first step was revitalizing the brand.

"There's a generation of archers who don't feel the same way about Martin Archery than their parents do," he said. "We want to get Martin Archery back on the cutting edge of technology in terms of compound-bow manufacturing, and build Martin back into a company that's all things to pro shops and big boxes."

To help accomplish that goal, Martin added three product lines in 2014.

"Martin used to be a one-stop shop," Weatherford said. "They had traditional, take-downs, compounds and accessories. We want to bring Martin back to its full glory with cutting-edge technology."

Weatherford's plans are progressing well so far, he said.

"I expected to get more sleep this year," he said. "But we keep taking on more instead of relaxing."

Weatherford said the big project for 2014 was revamping the entire product line.

"Martin needed a facelift, so we started with the brand and the message," he said. "Then we followed that up this year by spending a lot of time with our customers. We spent a sizeable investment on consumer research, and we're redesigning our line to fit gaps in the market."

Going into 2015, Martin Archery has 14 new compound bows.

"People are going to be pretty excited about what we have to offer this year," Weatherford said. "We redid the takedown line, and we added bowfishing lines and target archery. Our new compounds have high-end limbs."

By the time he gets to the 2015 ATA Trade Show, Weatherford will focus on signing up new dealers.

"We're having a great time," he said. "After the 2014 ATA Show, we got one good weekend of sleep. I think that's how it will go this year."

Weatherford said Gail Martin left big shoes to fill.

"Gail Martin built Martin Archery with hard work, passion and dedication," he said. "We're honored and proud to have the opportunity to continue building on his foundation of success as we look to take this storied company to new heights. We're extremely enthused about our incredibly talented management team, and can't wait for everyone to get their hands on the all-new product line. We're eager to see what the coming year has to offer." (Taken from Archery Trade Association online article.)

MARTIN ARCHERY - FIRE DESTROYS WAREHOUSE
A fire July 8, 2015, Wednesday night in Walla Walla, Washington, destroyed Martin Archery's production facility, a 17,000-square foot building that housed the bow, paint and machine shop. Firefighting crews prevented the five-alarm fire from spreading to the company's nearby 40,000-square foot office and storage building. (Taken from Archery Trade Association online article.)

Jennifer Lawrence, HUNGER GAMES & MARTIN ARCHERY
Katniss Everdeen, the reluctant leader of the revolution in "The Hunger Games," has changed bows as often as she's changed wardrobes. (Kidding!)

But seriously, Jennifer Lawrence's popular character and expert archer has switched bows several times during the series. Those changes started with "The Hunger Games," when she shot two different bows. In "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire," Jennifer Lawrence sported a Hoyt Buffalo. And the mystery of the 'Mockingjay' bow has been solved: J-Law is shooting a Savannah bow from Martin Archery?s Damon Howatt line.

Lance Irving, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Martin Archery, says the bow is lightweight, easy to use and in his opinion has the right look and feel for the blockbuster hit.

"We are extremely honored to have one of our most popular traditional bows selected by the 'Hunger Games' team.  From what we understand, they wanted to go for a different look and feel as well as have Ms. Lawrence's input from a shootability standpoint in the final installment of the movie and our Savannah checked all the boxes," stated Irving. (Taken from Archery 360 online Article)

About Walla Walla Guitar Company

Terry Martin, after having sold Martin Archery began creating another of his true passions... Incredibly unique and custom made electric guitars. He and Ken Melhus have always had a passion for music and guitars. From their teens they have spent countless hours playing music and have been on a quest for that perfect instrument. That search for the illusive perfect guitar drove us to ultimately building it with their own hands.

With over 75 years of designing, building and playing experience, they have decided to focus all that experience into the Walla Walla Guitar Company. WWGC goal is to create instruments that are visually exciting, unique, and play like an old friend. Besides creating new takes on classic guitars such as WallaCaster, we also have some truly innovative guitars like our T-Top (Tone-Top) with options never before seen on a guitar. The T-Top is able to be visually personalized as often as you like.
