Our unique "Firefly" Warm White Solar Strings add atmosphere to any garden or outdoor living space setting. The 2.25" diameter clear plastic globes contain a LED-powered insert that glows with a warm tone when lit, creating a unique and interesting illumination. The set of sixteen (16) globes are spaced every 16" along a 21' length. An additional length of 7.6 feet of wire connect from the solar panel to the first globe, providing plenty of space for locating the solar panel in the best location using either the ground spike or included building/tree attach bracket. Powered by the sun, the lamps illuminate automatically at dusk and glow warmly with a rich yellow-orange tone. The lightweight clear plastic globes are fully waterproof and impact resistant. The globe housings contain a small plastic clip that can be used to secure the bulbs to thin branches or for providing support for the entire string of lights if attached to a supporting wire when run overhead between trees, trellises or other structures. 

The amorphous-type solar panel and 800 mAh NiMH battery power the lamps for 6 to 8 hours, depending on the amount of direct sunlight reaching the solar panel. The solar panel contains selector switches for On/Off (the switch must be set to "On" to permit recharging in the sun) and a Flash/Steady selector. We think the "Firefly" solar strings look great when illuminating patios, decks, pools and yards. The lighting effect is a rich warm white with an orange tone and is both unique and visually striking.
