"Cool Blue"

 - Hat Color-Light Blue, Hair Color-Red/Brown

"Cool Blue" is a medium sized hat that is excellent for tweens in both fit and style. A versatile, throw-it-on hat that dresses up quickly to head out the door. Whether for medical need or just for bad hair days.

All the hats are cloth and are natural looking hats that are light-weight, cool and comfortable to wear. Originally designed and manufactured for children and adults with hair loss due to medical reasons. These hats with hair found a place among adults that were on the go and had limited time. And kids discovered that they could have a different look every day if they wanted, but mostly they could do it with a bit of class and not look dorky.

These Hats with Hair have become more then just a head cover for embarrassment due to hair loss or a quick fix for a In 2013 I was diagnosed with cancer and with the rounds of radiation and chemotherapy I lost my hair. Now I’m male and over 60 years old, so I should just live with losing my hair. But I don’t have a head like Rick Harrison of the Pawn Stars and I have/had a full head of hair down to my shoulders worn in a pony tail.

I don’t wear a hat often, cowboy hat once in a while and a baseball cap when I drive across country. My wife found a baseball cap with hair online and bought it for me and cut it a little.

The one big benefit from all of this, besides covering my hairless dome, was that people who knew me but were not close to me didn’t ask "if I was OK" or "what happened to your hair" or "chemo? my dad lost his hair same way". Since I own three businesses I meet and talk to a lot of people and the hat stopped a lot of well meant but tiring conversations.

That New Years Eve there was 10 of us, 5 couples, that got dressed up and did the dinner/drinks/dancing thing. We were a hit or at least my wigs were, 7 of us wore them to all the functions plus we did some swapping in the middle of it all. Fun was had by all!

We have down sized our store to a Kiosk and I now find myself with a lot of wigs. We are selling them to people for costumes or parties or for the person that needs to blend in because of medical reasons.

NOTE: Hand wash gently with mild soap and water.

I'm now years cancer free! I've been check again and now only have to go into the doctors every 6 months, still cancer FREE.
