Up for sale is a VERY NICE, LARGE Allyn Cox Charcoal On Paper on Board (the paper is matted to the board).  The print is the portrait of a man standing and appearing to lean on something.

Allyn Cox (June 5, 1896 - September 26, 1982 was an American artist known for his murals, including those he painted in the US Capitol and the US Department of State.

It is currently matted, but the mat is very cheap, torn and stained.  The piece itself measures approximately 18" x 24".

Generally, the piece is in Good Condition, however, the paper has a lot of wrinkles and creases in it, some spotting and a few tears.  There is also some toning to the paper, stains and pin prick holes in the corners and around the edges.

A superb example of this very well known & collectible artists work - a perfect piece for any collector!   It will look great when nicely matted and framed.

Other dings here and there.  Please note shipping charges (especially international buyers).  Will ship flat.
