This Incognito rewire kit is designed for use with straight Rega tonearms including the following models: RB202, RB250, RB251, RB300, RB303, RB600, RB700, RB900, RB1000. It will also fit many of the tonearms that Rega make for other brands as an OEM product including Moth, Michell, Edwards Audio and many others - if in doubt please contact us.

This is a very high quality loom which features continuous conductors from the cartridge tags right through to the phono plugs - thereby avoiding any additional connections or solder joints. The cable used is very fine (33AWG) Cardas Litz copper, which is flexible enough to ensure the movement of the tonearm bearings are not impeded.

The 1.2 metre long external cable is flexible enough to be used on a suspended turntable and is pre fitted with quality gold plated non magnetic phono plugs. It is well shielded with what the manufacturers call a 'Faraday Cage' shield to keep noise to a minimum, and an earth wire is added to separate it from the audio ground. There's a gold plated 'slug' that fits inside the base of the tonearm which provides a solid 'star' ground connection.

This is a DIY kit, we would classify it as somewhere between easy and medium in terms of difficulty, you need a steady hand, a little patience and the ability to solder fine wires. The kit includes instructions, a draw wire, cartridge tags with coloured heatshrink and solder - basically everything you need apart from tools (although a couple of allen keys are included).
