This NEW in the box Tru-Chek rain gauge comes with two mounting screws, instruction sheet for mounting, and on the back of the instruction sheet, a simple recording chart to keep track of your rain totals. My wife made a very simple data base program, so you can keep the information on the computer. This unique wedge shaped weather resistant plastic gauge measures 13 1/2" long and has a 2 1/2" square opening at the top. It can handle up to 6" of rain at one time and measures down to .01. The left side of the gauge shows the metric readings while the right side is in inches. The gauge comes with sturdy storage box and makes an ideal gift for golf courses, airports, landscape business', the outdoor gardner, or just someone who is interested in monitoring the rain totals in your immediate area. The unit is not designed to be left out during freezing weather.
